Terri Sanchez, FluteTerri Sanchez

Terri Sanchez was the 1st prize winner of the National Flute Association Orchestral Excerpt Competition and was a finalist in the Myrna W. Artist Competition. She was also a 2nd prize winner of the Upper Midwest Flute Society Young Artist Competition.

Currently, she is pursuing a masters degree in flute performance at Southern Methodist University, studying with Dallas Symphony flutist, Kara Kirkendoll Welch. Ms. Sanchez received her bachelor’s degree in flute performance from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Terri's Flute Studio

Ms. Sanchez teaches students from Carrollton, Dallas, Richardson, Plano and Allen. She offers 45 min. or 1 hour private lessons at her apartment in Carrollton, Claire Johnson’s home in Richardson or at your home. Ms. Sanchez has had the opportunity to study with many wonderful teachers, including Kara Kirkendoll Welch, Alexa Still, Jean Larson, Terri Sundberg, Helen Blackburn and Leticia Ledesma.

She is especially grateful for the constant wisdom and guidance from her mentors, Claire Johnson and Gabriel Sanchez.
